4. They Live (1988)
I LOVE THIS FILM!! Superb sci-fi/horror/dark comedy starring Roddy Piper,Keith David and Meg ‘The Eyes’ Foster.
Piper plays a drifter who finds a pair of sunglasses that enable him to see aliens living on Earth. Aliens that look,well… ”Real fuckin’ ugly!”
Full of witty one liners including one oft-quoted line of dialogue (it’s in the bank scene,you’ll know it when you hear it) and an epic fist fight between Piper and David (I think it runs for about 7 minutes),the running time just flies by.
