9. Cowboys and Aliens (2011) Enjoyable enough sci fi action/western starring Daniel Craig and Harrison Ford. Meh. It was OK. Good characters,good action and FX work,but so-so story. Craig is a proper badass in the first 45 minutes,but softens when he falls for Olivia Wilde. Who wouldn’t?! I’d have preferred to see him stay a stony faced hardnut for the whole film though. I liked Clancy Brown and the usually annoying Sam Rockwell in supporting roles. Also,the excellent Walton Goggins plays one of Craig’s cohorts,but wasn’t in it enough for my liking! Good action packed finale when they Craig,Ford and co fight against the alien stronghold.
