10. The Green Hornet (2011)

Seth Rogen and Jay Chou star in a comedic updating of the 60’s TV show about a crimefighting duo.

I actually enjoyed this more than i thought i would. It took a while to get going,but there was some funny dialogue between Rogen and Chou to keep things interesting until the action kicked in.

I didn’t like the slow motion fight scenes though. Obviously designed to make Chou look better than he actually is at kung fu. The best (non slo-mo) fight was the one in their house where he and Rogen pretty much destroy two rooms and it seemed they weren’t doubled for much of it.

The Cameron Diaz role could have been played by anyone. She’s really underused,as is the bad guy,played by Christoph Waltz.

Overall though,quite a fun watch.
